Model: Noosa II
Use: Noseriding
Size Range: 9'0" to 10'0" and longer Best: 9'8"
Board Design: This is a classic longboard produced with a modern tune up of the Noosa I. The rails are basically 50/50 throught the middle of the board, and turned up 100% at the nose and tail. The bottom is a full concave from nose to tail, keeping the board locked into your line. The water is channeled back to the fin when standing on the nose, making the board more easily controllable from the nose. When the concave flows off of the tail, it helps in turning a bigger, heavier board. If you are serious about noseriding wether you are already good or just a beginner, this board is proven to enhance your noseriding skills.
WARNING: A TEN SECOND HANG TEN IS A COMMON SIDE EFFECT FROM USING THIS DESIGN. VARRYING WITH YOUR PERSONALITY TYPE ALOT OF FUN MAY FOLLOW AFTER THIS OCCURANCE.
Standard Glassing: Deck 8oz Volan + 6oz x 2 Bottom 8oz Volan + 4oz x 1
This is a classic style longboard, average weight 22lbs to 30lbs, depending on height, body weight, ability and desired feeling.
Wave Condtion: Any size you are comfortable riding. Generally the best wave size I feel for controlling good noserides is knee to shoulder high surf.

Model: Noosa I
Use: Noseriding Size Range: 9'0" to 10'0" and longer Best : 9'8"
Board Design: Taking several board designs from the 60's and adding my own influences I came up with this design. This design is called " Noosa I " and named after a surf spot in Australia. With this board design I won 2 out of 3 Professional Noseriding contests there. To start off with, a straight square tail with the rail line turned up to the deck both on the nose and tail. This allows the nose to cut through small imperfections on the waves face like a boats bow cutting through the water. As for the tail, it allows for the water to flow faster off of the deck than the water on the bottom; creating pressure down on the tail in the face of the wave while standing on the nose. The bottom is 3/4 concave from nose to past the center, then flows to a flat semi roll on the tail. Having the concave stretch out over 3/4 of the board, allows the water on the bottom of the board to be controlled while on the nose. My noseriders are built specifically to enhance the expierience of nosesriding. They are meant to be ridden from the nose. All of my theories of board design come from standing with your weight on the nose.
Standard Glassing: Deck 8oz Volan + 6oz x 2 Bottom 8oz Volan + 6oz x 1
This is a classic style board, the average weight is 24lbs to 32lbs. Depending on board length, body weight, and height, as well as your personal desired feeling with calculate weight for the board.
Wave Condition:
Any size you feel comfortable riding. Generally the best wave size I recommend for noseriding, and controlling noserides, is in from knee high to shoulder high surf.

Model: New School Noserider
Use: Noseriding / All Around Size Range: 9'0" to 9'10" Best 9'4"
Board Design:
This board is a combination between my Pintail Noserider and my all around model. The front half is made for noseriding. It has the same rail line as my noseriders in the nose, then goes to a down rail in the tail with an edge. The bottom has a flowing concave that stretches a little over 1/2 of the board, then goes into a gradual vee in the tail. This board allows you to have the best of both worlds, turning and noseriding. Being a pintail and having the edge in the tail allows for easy turns and control from the tail. Keep in mind that with an edge in the tail there is always the chance of the tail sliding out. Water sticks to curves not edges. So if your looking for an ultimate Noserider, check out my classic pintail Noserider or the square tail Noosa I and Noosa II. This model is also offered in a square tail and diamond tail.
Standard Glassing: Deck 8oz volan x 2 Bottom 8oz volan x 1
This boards versatility is enhanced with a heavier glass job, producing more stability. Allowing you get what you want out of this design. Standard glassing shown above is medium weight, 20lbs to 22lbs.
Wave Conditions : Anything you feel comfortable riding. Having an edge in the tail and being a pintail it can handle a couple feet over head easily. Just paddle out and have fun.

Model: Pintail Noserider
Use: Noseriding Size Range: 9'0" to 10'0" Best 9'6"
Board Design: This is a classic pintail outline design. With 50/50 rails and a 100% turned up rail line in the nose and tail. The bottom has a 3/4 concave and goes to a rolled vee in the tail. This board has the same water flow theories as my Noosa I and Noosa II when it comes to noseriding. However, with more curve in the tail it is is easier to turn and control from the tail. When it comes to choosing a pintail or a square tail for noseriding, it is all based on personal preference.
Standard Glassing: Deck 8oz volan + 6oz x 2 Bottom 8oz volan + 4oz x 1
This is a classic weight board with a classic feel. Average weight is about 22lbs to 28lbs and can be glassed lighter or heavier, with keeping a balance to your body weight and height.
Wave Condition: Any size you are comfortable riding. Generally, the best wave size is from Knee to one or two feet over head. Being a pintail it can handle more size easier than the Noosa's square tails. For maximum control over the board while on the nose, I recommend knee to shoulder high surf. |
